Frequently Asked Questions

What Specialist Reports does Pacific Hope require?

We require the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) report from a specialist that confirms communication and social challenges that impact the learning of your child including the functional assessment documentation. The second report we require is the Intellectual Disability report that shows a diagnosis of a mild to moderate impairment, evidenced by a full-scale IQ score between three and four standard deviations below the mean on an approved intelligence test, along with supportive evidence of adaptive skills and school performance within or below that range.

Can specialists book appointments during school time?
Yes, we have many external specialists (Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors) and youth support workers who work with students at our school. We recognise the benefit it provides for students in their educational journey and the convenience it is for families. Further, we are able to offer a greater level of support by collaborating with specialists.
How can my child join a waiting list?

Once you have completed and submitted your initial enrolment enquiry our Registrar will send you a confirmation email and you will be automatically placed on our waiting list.

We will stay in contact with you to update you on the status of your application.
