In Junior School, holistic learning is prioritised for students who have a mild to moderate intellectual delay or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Comprehensive, uniquely designed educational plans are implemented to help unlock your child’s potential academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Inclusive Education

Our educational model is participative and inclusive. Children flourish when they know they belong. Students have the opportunity to engage in the broader school community and varying collaborative opportunities with Pacific Coast Christian School such as athletics days, combined chapels, assemblies and cultural events.

Students love our specially constructed sensory garden and playground that provide a space to support your child’s sensory needs in an environment where they can thrive.

Enriched Learning

Our passionate delivery of our rigorous curriculum engages students to pursue academic excellence. Our enriched learning experiences go beyond traditional classrooms by offering hands-on excursions. Our curriculum and programs empower students for independent living.

Vocational Education

In Years 11 and 12, we offer VET programs to assist students develop industry-specific skills. We also coordinate work experience placements aligned with student’s career goals, providing valuable insights and experiences to help prepare a career pathway for their chosen field.

Empowering Students

The Pacific Hope experience is designed to empower students beyond their academic studies by equipping them with essential skills for life, resilience and adaptability, therefore enabling them to thrive and positively impact the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to be Christians to enrol?
No. We wholeheartedly welcome families of varying cultural backgrounds and beliefs to enrol their children. Whilst Pacific Hope values inclusivity and diversity, we confirm that our school is rooted in the Christian faith. This requires all families and children enrolled at Pacific Hope to respect and uphold the Christian beliefs, values and practices that define our faith-based community. All students are required to participate in all school courses, programs and activities. Participating in a Christian community allows students to explore their own personal journey of faith.
Does the school have therapy dogs?
Yes, Pacific Hope has two therapy dogs. They are beloved members of our community and they have made a significant impact on the wellbeing of our students and our students relish their time with our therapy dogs.

The interaction between students and our therapy dogs helps reduce anxiety and stress, support mental health, boost moods, provide comfort, build connections, create trust and support learning.
Does the school have Sensory Play Spaces?

Yes, Pacific Hope has sensory learning spaces which are safe places that support the sensory needs of our students to help them cope with challenges but also stimulate their senses.
