Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

The stage 5 (years 9/10) went on a recent excursion to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. The day was spent enjoying the surroundings of the park. Some students were able to get up close to the wildlife, which included holding a snake.

The class walked through “The Lost World” exhibit which re-creates a rainforest environment. This was very beneficial to the students as it compliments the Science lessons they are currently studying.

In all it was a great day building relationships and exploring a local attraction.
